Which Steelers Quarterback Was the GOAT?

Pittsburgh is home to some of the most devoted fans in the country, and the Pittsburgh Steelers have had a long list of GOATS on their roster. We’re talking about the GOAT of the Pittsburg Steelers…quarterback edition.   

When talking about who is considered the GOAT of the Pittsburgh Steelers, many names come to mind, but when we’re referencing the quarterbacks, it’s Ben Roethlisberger that stands out, and for a good reason. We’re going to break down why Roethlisberger is the GOAT. 

Super Bowl Titles

You cannot be on the GOAT list if you have never helped to win a Super Bowl. Roethlisberger has helped to win two Super Bowls, and this only solidifies his spot in the GOAT hall of fame. Helping to win one Super Bowl is a huge accomplishment for the team, but two is taking it to another level. 

Records

Ben has achieved over twenty NFL records in the span of his career and this is surely not an easy job. Records are a good way to measure your favorite athlete’s skills and what they’re capable of achieving for themselves and their team. The fact that he has achieved over twenty records speaks louder than words. 

A True Family Man

After announcing his retirement from the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ben Roethlisberger announced that he was planning on starting up the Roethlisberger Family Foundation. The foundation is founded on his close bond with his father and the importance of having this bond throughout his life. The foundation is centered around a huge farm that he bought for father and son retreats. The thought behind this idea shows how caring and how much of a family man Roethlisberger is, leading to even more reasons why he is the GOAT. 

Ben Rothlisberger has achieved a lot of great things in his career, and by the sound of it, he’s not stopping with football. He has won Super Bowls, achieved multiple records, and is a great guy through and through, leading him to be the GOAT quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
